Our fifth VSF Junior Graded Series event was held at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre with 55 entrants participating. Again this event followed on immediately after the High Performance Program training session (run from 9-10:45am). Thanks to the players and parents understanding for the delay in starting and finishing later than originally expected due to us having to redo some draws right before the event comenced. Despite the delay in starting all players had an enjoyable time with many close matches being decided with a sudden death rally to determine a winner.

Again it was pleasing to see new players particapating in our Junior Tournament Circuit. Events were conducted for A, B, C, D, E, Novice and Beginner grades.

All participants have gained points which will count towards their Graded Ranking. The Graded Rankings will be updated in the very near future.

Thanks to all players for being ready to take to the court on time and assisting with marking and refing duties. Thanks also to Bradley Kemp for his help throughout the day with running the event.

The next VSF Graded Series event (#6) is to be held at MSAC on Sunday, 29 July.
