Our ninth VSF Junior Graded Series "STATE TITLES", was held at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre. With 59 entrants participating for this graded event. This event followed on immediately after High Performance Program training session (run from 9-10:45am). Thanks to all players for being ready to take to the court on time and assisting with marking and refing duties. Thanks also to Brad Kemp for his help throughout the day with running the event.

Events were conducted for A, B, C, D, E, Novice and Beginner grades.

After HPP training presentations of the State Team uniforms were made and Lao Biesbroek, President, of the Maroondah Squash Club was on hand to present a special donation from the members of thier club to a junior player worthy of thier support and encouragement. This presentation has been ongoing for 10 years and the Victorian Junior Squash community appreciate the generostity of the members from the Maroondah Squash Club. This year the recipient was Nicole Stoneham from Maroondah who happens to be the third generation of Stonehams to play at the club. Nicole who played for Victoria last year will again represent the State with pride in Perth. Also pictured below is Luka Morgan who was given our encouragement award.

All participants in today's event have gained points which will count towards their Graded Ranking for the 2009 Circuit. The Graded Rankings will be updated in the very near future.
