2008 VSL JUNIOR AGE
CHAMPIONSHIPS

Another successful junior age event was conducted at Knox on Sunday. Thanks to Daniel Tanner for allowing us the use of his centre. With 64 player in attendance the atmosphere was great to be around and nine new players mostly from Knox. Daniel and his crew of coaches are doing a great job with their juniors. Congratulations to Daniel and Allison on the arrival of their new son earlier in the week.

Thank you to all competitors who really did play some great squash and were always willing to co-operate with scoring and refereeing duties. We also appreciate the assistance from many parents who scored and refereed. Thanks also to the parents that do quite a lot of miles to get players to these tournaments, we do appreciate your efforts.

The canteen again was headed up by Faye St John, Dino Zagami and Jenny Soutar. With the help of many of the parents too. We were able to raise some valuable money going towards Victorian Junior Squash. We really appreciate all your efforts!
